“Wanted to give a huge public thank you to my friends at Mattress Warehouse!! Had to be a nerd and take a selfie along Grape Road, LOL. Long story short, I’ve slept on the same mattress for well over 10 years. I travel a decent amount for work. I noticed I would sleep better in hotels than at home…. which isn’t a good sign.
You know I’m obsessed with shopping local — so I went to get some advice from the best local mattress store in the area! I talked with Jim at the Mishawaka store. He’s legit a mattress expert… because he’s been with them for 41 years (!!!).
I dread shopping for large items, because sometimes the sales folks are so aggressive. That was NOT the case with Jim. He educated me (I didn’t realize there was so much science that goes into mattresses!), found what would work well for my preferences and had no issue with me walking out of the store with empty hands so I could take some time to do my own research.
I came back a few days later with my decision, and within 2 days, it was delivered to my house. They even took the old mattress away! The delivery & removal was FREE! I now dread traveling for work, because it means I don’t have my comfy king bed! How the tables have turned, haha! It’s also Doppler approved!
I was told if you mention “Matt Rudkin sent me here”, they will give you a free mattress protector with any purchase. Thanks for being an amazing local store, and supporting local people (like Jim!) for decades. Remember: SUPPORT LOCAL!”
